NHL Construction Sweepstakes

NHL Construction will award one (1) grand prize at the end of the prize period. The prize period ends on December 31. 2023. The grand prize winner will be determined from a random drawing of all entries received during the prize period. The odds of winning the grand prize are determined by the number of entries received prior to the time of the prize drawing. NHL Construction. reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify, extend, or terminate this sweepstakes without notice at any time. The winner will be notified by certified email and text message within 15 days of the drawing. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. All prizes will be awarded.

The grand prize winner will receive NHL Constructions GAF Roofing products, professionally installed with retail value of $15,000. Prize is not transferable. The prize must be installed at the address listed on the winning entry form. Installation must be provided by NHL Construction’s personnel.  All expenses not specifically provided for are the sole responsibility of the winner. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Official Rules, if a winner has already purchased goods or services from NHL Construction, the winner may choose (i) a full refund (not to exceed the retail value of $15,000 or the equivalent of their purchase, whichever is less).

No purchase is necessary to participate in this sweepstakes. A purchase will not improve the chances of winning. A sales presentation is requested but not required for entry into this sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. By entering the NHL Construction Sweepstakes, the contestant hereby understands that we will provide a NHL Construction product and/or service information by phone, mail or email.

Entrants may enter this sweepstakes by completing the entry form online. No more than one entry per household and/or one person is allowed. Each entry must have a unique address and phone number submitted onto form. NHL Construction is not responsible for any illegible, incorrect or late entries. The address listed on each entry form must be the address where the prize is to be installed if such entry is selected as a winner.

Sweepstakes entrants must (i) be legal residents of the United States; (ii) be 25 years of age or older, (iii) own their own home, which home is in a suitable condition (as determined by NHL Construction or its designees) for installation of the prize (including compliance with local building codes and regulations), and (iv) reside in one of the following New Jersey counties: Passaic, Essex, Morris, Bergen, Somerset, Union. Employees, officers and directors of NHL Construction, its affiliates, subsidiaries, co-branded partners, consultants, contractors, advertising, public relations, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (and those living in their same households) are not eligible to participate in this sweepstakes. The prize winner’s house must be in suitable condition for installation (e.g., no water, mold, structural damage, etc.). Any waterproofing, remediation or other repairs necessary for proper installation (as deemed by NHL Construction or its designees in their sole discretion) must be performed at owner’s expense prior to installation. Installation labor does not include painting or staining. No transfers, substitution in prizes or cash will be allowed except by NHL Construction, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole or absolute discretion. Cash value of the prize is deemed to be $15,000.00.

Upon installation of the prize, NHL Construction. will be deemed to have awarded the prize to the winner with the winner assuming full ownership and responsibility for the prize. Winner must arrange for prize installation no later than one month following the award of the prize and installation must occur and be completed within twelve months of notification.

The winner must comply with all instructions in the prize notification correspondence, including the completion of an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and return them within fourteen days of the date on the prize notification correspondence as well as have met all the eligibility requirements set forth within these Rules; otherwise prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance or use of a prize constitutes permission for NHL Construction. and its affiliates to use recipients name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Liability for any applicable taxes, including all federal, state, and local taxes and/or other fees that may apply to prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the Internal Revenue Service. All expenses not specifically provided for by NHL Construction in these Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Entries that are lost, late, illegible or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. NHL Construction reserves the right to modify or terminate this Sweepstakes at any time or disqualify any entry in good faith. 

By participating in this sweepstakes, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless NHL Construction, its affiliates, co-branded partners, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages which may arise out of participation in this sweepstakes in any way or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of a prize. Acceptance of a prize may require entering a standard contract or purchase order for the goods and services to be provided, as required by state law. This sweepstakes is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning).

• Winners are picked by random drawing in December
• Entries must be received by December 31st to be included in the annual drawing.
• Entrants must be eighteen years of age and a homeowner to win. 
• Property must be located in New Jersey
• No purchase is necessary to enter.  A purchase will not improve an individual’s chance of winning.
• Winner will be required to provide proof of home ownership and execute a publicity release.
• Prize is not transferable.
• Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
• To become a semi-finalist, you will have to undergo a short telephone survey to confirm eligibility
